· Lead in Lindt chocolate?: A Consumer Reports investigation in 2022 found elevated levels of lead and cadmium in two Lindt chocolate bars. Since then, Lindt has been involved in a class action lawsuit for violating state labelling rules by failing to disclose the presence of these heavy metals in their products.
