根据2020年马来西亚统计局的数据，大马已经迈进了老龄化社会，65岁以上的人口占了总人口的7%。马来西亚需要为老龄社会制定相应政策，市场更需要成熟的看护技术。曾担任微软亚洲研究院研究员及香港浸会大学助理教授的高学历博士回到家乡柔佛创立了SmartPeep，利用人工智能技术辅助现有的老年看护模式。
