If Kuching's NiceStupidPlayground can survive on only one thing, it would be their penchant for melodies. 21 years after surfacing together with scene bigwigs OAG and Butterfingers, their spirit and desire to play straight up indie pop tunes have gained them somewhat of a cult following. Frontman Charles Rossem and bassist John Boniface tell Ali all about the Kuching scene, the 'major label deal' and more whilst letting their sweet melodies take them through to the next decade and beyond.
