Suzanne Lee focuses on life and finds the truth in everyday occurrences through the lens of her camera. That is her job as a documentary photographer. Coming from a background involving mechanics, modeling and public relations agent, her passion for photography stem from an early exposure to it while modeling at the age of 16. Later, she bought her first camera and decided to do freelance jobs all throughout Europe.
In 2006, Suzanne made a decision to fly through 150 countries while collecting signatures of world leaders for a world peace petition that was meant for the United Nations. Since then, she has been a freelance photographer for 10 years and she was appointed as a member under the Panos Pictures. From that, she became one of Sony’s Global Imaging Ambassador.
Her work has been shown in many countries including England, China, Japan, Cambodia, Malaysia, Germany and etc. Her numerous awards were in affiliation with the Japanese International Photojournalism Awards, Angkor Photo Festival and UNICEF-GEO Photo Of The Year Awards.
