Razlan Shah, a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, breathes life onto the stage like nobody else can. After spending months on the streets of KL learning how to sing through busking, and later doing the same in France and London, his musical roots definitely show as he performs with a certain spontaneity and spunk that cannot be learned anywhere else. His music ranges from acoustic folk to alternative R&B, he strives to show honest meaning in his music.
He has been actively performing on the singer songwriter circuit doing solo performances at The Bee and headlining weekend shows at No Black Tie and Laundry not to mention performances around Boston.
Razlan's self written and self performed song "Flowers" spent a total of 20 weeks on the Hitz FM MET Top 10 where he stayed at #1 for 7 weeks. Recently the single was nominated Final Five for Best Local English Song at the Anugerah Industri Muzik 2014 (Malaysia's equivalent to the Grammy Awards).
Razlan will promise a night well spent. Whether you come to be entertained by his music or his anecdotes, you can be rest assured that you will leave the show with good music hanging by your ears and stories to laugh about for days to come.
