Tonight we’ve had a man who’s talents range from being an actor, whether it be television or the theater stage, a host for any television/event format and now a fully fledged actor-preneur; He’s none other than Razif Hashim!
Many would remember Razif from the ever popular Gol & Gincu The Series from the mid-2000’s with his role as the leading man, Haikal. If that doesn’t stir your memories, probably his stints in both 8TV’s Quickie in 2007 and the infamous Best Of The World food travel series which he did for a full three seasons from 2011-2013. For fans, be glad the series has been picked up by Asian Food Channel where re-runs can be found.
Interestingly, Razif studied Diploma in Performing Arts at Sunway University before he dropped out for East 15 Acting School. He was invited by the school and proceeded to obtain a Masters in Acting. Ever since then he hasn’t looked back with a return to Malaysia garnered him a spot as Ivan in the local film production Goodbye Boys in 2006. He was also the only non UK citizen to represent Britain in the Shakespearean production of Romeo and Juliet at the World Expo, Shanghai 2010 and has performed at Shakespeare's Global in London.
Currently, with a strong passion for educating and passing his knowledge of acting, he founded Tablework, CODE: School of Acting and Performing Strategies and also FTalent. He is also the ambassador for Maggi Royale since 2014.
For the record, Razif scored 18!
