For many, the want to be a full-time musician is a strong one. However, the daunting task of dropping the stable 9-5 job in favour of the passion-filled starving artist lifestyle is something tonight’s guest took in his stride. Daniel C took the chance, threw himself all in and now he’s got a chart-topping song to show off too.

 

Initially, Daniel was trained for the electone and trained himself to use the guitar. With a strong foundation of folk and country music, it’s no wonder that bands like Goo Goo Dolls and Jars Of Clay are his main inspiration for his music.

He also notes Keith Urban, Coldplay, Jason Mraz and John Mayer on influencing his style. He officially launched his album, If I Could in Penang on 20th September alongside bands like Color Noise and Duo K. His title track was #1 for Hitz.fm Malaysian English Top 10 chart for two strong weeks!

For the record, Daniel C scored 16!
