Kickstarting the first of a brand-new monthly series, we'll be featuring the shapers and innovators of the jazz guitar. We start in the 1930's when the instrument was used mainly as a rhythm tool and follow its progression throughout the years when it steadily evolved to be one of the primary ingredients in contemporary jazz.
