Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman is one of the oldest traditional Malay houses in Malaysia. Built in between the year 1910 and 1930s in Kedah, the house that belonged to the headman of Mukim Bagan Samak has been relocated to KL, and restored by Badan Warisan Malaysia. On this Malaysia Day Special, we sit down with Elizabeth Cardosa of Badan Warisan Malaysia, as she walked us through the journey of bringing the house here in KL, and the importance of preserving buildings such as these, to act as an important bridge, between the modern, New Malaysia, and the Old.
