Crackdowns on the homeless are still rampant and with growing concerns & complaints from the community, there are only a handful willing to lend a hand and support the welfare of the unfortunate. Soup kitchens are in abundance around the city, but attention to the medical needs of the homeless is quite scarce. We're privileged to learn the story behind Dr S Madhusudhan who's known as the 'Teddy Bear Doctor', who tells us the homeless situation, the growing necessity  that the homeless require, on why he hated his clinic job until he hit the streets. And of course, of the origin of his nickname.
