I Love KL: Shadow Swing

Just when we thought we’ve seen the last of the shadow puppets, the traditional artform known by many of us as ‘Wayang Kulit’ received a well-deserved resurrection – but not in the traditional form we once knew. Tintoy Chuo, founder of Fusion Wayang Kulit joins us to talk about his journey of modernising the craft by blending in elements of modern pop culture like star wars and even DC superheroes. Then, we swing by the 1930s in our time machine with Ming Pang from Kl Swing to talk more about the craze of that era – swing dance.
