The noble aim of championing a cause requires us to sometimes be out of our comfort zone. Jeff Lau and Jerry Song, from the Red Ribbon Youth Club, a youth branch of the Malaysian AIDS Council, definitely took this to heart, as they participated in two of the world's toughest foot races, to raise HIV/AIDS awareness. Lau ran in the 9th 6633 Arctic Ultra, set in a subzero temperature, while Song ran through the sweltering desert in the Gobi March. They survived, and lived to tell that unforgettable tale.
