Datuk Santokh Singh was one of the pillars of Malaysian football in the 1970s and 80s. He played for Malaysia, alongside fellow legends like the late Dato' Mokhtar Dahari, Datuk Soh Chin Aun and Datuk R. Arumugam, and was part of the national team that qualified for the 1980 Moscow Olympics, which Malaysia eventually boycotted.
