St. John’s Institution and Victoria Institution are two of the oldest schools in Kuala Lumpur. Both were conferred “National Heritage” status by the government under the National Heritage Act. But how many of us are aware of both schools’ history and their century-old rivalry? The inaugural installment in Badan Warisan Malaysia’s This KUL City series will be featuring a “Heritage Battle” between Johannian Old Boy Dato’ Zahim Albakri and VI Old Boy Chacko Vadaketh. Both are on the show to share their school day memories as well as make the case for their school’s superiority.
