After Pakatan Harapan’s stunning victory at the 14th General Election, a group of Malaysians were looking for a way to hold the coalition to their promises made on the campaign trail. The result was Harapan Tracker, a website monitoring all pledges made verbally and in writing. Dennis Kam explains how he and his team define what a promise is, what they think of criticism to their work and what the project’s end goal is.
