The Bottom Billion

Lakshmi Venkatesan is the founding and managing trustee of BYST, a business and youth trust in India that provides seed money for new startups in order to promote inclusive growth and uplift the disadvantaged communities. We will ask her what “inclusive growth” means, how her organization define “disadvantage,” and what are the implications of an economy which doesn’t look after the welfare of its bottom billion.
