Death and philanthropy don’t usually go hand in hand, but they collide in the daily work of Tham Su Ming and Laurence Lien. Su Ming is the general manager of Hospis Malaysia, a Klang Valley-based nonprofit which provides palliative care to patients suffering from life limiting illnesses, and Laurence Lien is chairman of the Lien Foundation, where one of its central focus is to introduce radical philanthropy to the way we die.
