Recently, the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia announced that it would be conducting a National Inquiry into the Land Rights of Indigenous peoples in Malaysia, following more than 1800 complaints that they have received in the past 6 years, on the alleged infringements upon the rights of the Indigenous Peoples and their customary land.
