Dr. Fiona Williamson joins us to talk about her efforts to source and recover historical weather records to improve long term climate change models. The project involves scientists and historians working together, and is a justification for why the study of history is still relevant today. The Southeast Asia arm of the Atmospheric Circulation and Reconstructions over Earth (ACRE) project will hold a 2-day conference in UKM. If you wish to attend, please contact Dr. Fiona Williamson (fionaw@ukm.my).
