From Prison to the Silver Screen

Maziar Bahari is the author of “Then They Came for Me,” a harrowing memoir about his account covering the 2009 Iranian Elections and getting imprisoned in the process on trumped up charges. The book is being adapted into a feature-length film by The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart later this year. We speak to him about that as well as his latest project “To Light a Candle,” about the Baha’is, the biggest religious minority in Iran.
