Strident voices in Malaysia emphasizing our ethnic and religious differences have grown louder in recent months. In conjunction with World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Association for the Promotion of Human Rights (PROHAM) and the Global Movement of Moderates Foundation (GMM) co-organized a Dialogue for Harmony, with the hopes of stemming the rising tension and brewing enmity between Malaysians. We ask the secretary-general of PROHAM, Datuk Dr. Denison Jayasooria, about what another dialogue can do to affect real change.
