The Demands of Engineering in the 21st Century and Beyond

Almost everything we do daily is based on engineering, from the cars we drive, the houses we live in, to the computers we type on. Be that as it may though, employers are beginning to demand new things from fresh engineering graduates, aside from on-point technical skills. 

Professor Andrew Ooi, Assistant Dean in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Melbourne, explains how engineering courses and students need to change and adapt to continue to thrive in the workplace and the world.
