It is the dream of many students to attend the Ivy Leagues in the U.S. or Oxbridge in the U.K. - the twin epitomes of elite higher education. Recent acceptance rate at the Ivies average below 10%, and it hovers around 20% for Oxbridge. If you further factor in that international students only account for about 10% of each class, how should a Malaysian student aspiring to a good school separate themselves from the pack? ARCH Education, which specializes in preparing students for top tier schools, believe they have an answer. Tamara Lim, ARCH Education’s Southeast Asia representative, who herself attended both Oxford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, explains.
