Amanita, or Peace Lady, is a crime prevention initiative launched by the Royal Malaysian Police in October 2012. Under the programme, policewomen are tasked to connect with housewives to get a better understanding of local community issues and is characterized by Bukit Aman as a soft approach to tackle crime. Here to tell us more about the programme as well as how all of us can be more proactive in crime prevention are Amanita spokesperson ACP S. Sasikala Devi and safety activist Captain K. Balasubramaniam.
