Fly Your Ideas is a biennial international student competition held by Airbus, the world's leading aircraft manufacturer. Airbus is currently running the third edition of the competition for students across the globe to develop new ideas for the eco-efficient aviation industry of the future.
Team Embarker, an Aerospace Engineering student team from Universiti Putra Malaysia, has been selected as one of the five teams to compete in the challenge this year. Here to tell us more about their proposal for a self-sustaining aircraft cabin concept involving the use of excess body heat as an alternative source of energy are Tan Kai Jun and Teong Chee Khoon, members of the student team, along with their academic mentor, Dr Fairuz Izzuddin Romli.
