IWD 2022: How Women’s Rights Organisations Are Filling in the Gaps

If you were asked to name a women’s rights organisation in Malaysia, I’m sure many of you could name one or more off the top of your head. Women’s rights organisations have long played a vital role both in the community as well as in pushing for legislative changes to better recognise and protect women’s rights. But just how important is the role of women’s rights organisations and what are the gaps that they fill?
