It’s been roughly about a week now since Russia invaded Ukraine. Hundreds have been killed. Hundreds of thousands have fled the country. Unsurprisingly, people and governments across the globe have condemned the move by Russian president Vladimir Putin, rightfully so. The United States and other countries have thrown sanctions targeting Russian banks, oil refineries, exports, etc. However, this entire saga so far has caused many to raise their eyebrows, wondering why the same condemnation isn’t extended to the US and the West when they invade other countries.
