A baby is born, filling the household with unbridled cries and joy. Unfortunately for some mothers, not all is rosy. Postpartum depression, or depression after childbirth, affects 8-19% of mothers. They are overwhelmed by anxiety, worried that they are not taking good enough care of their children, to the point that it becomes a mental health problem. Here to shed light on postpartum depression are consultant psychiatrists, Dr. Philip George and Dr. Stephen Jambunathan.
