Obesity is linked to several factors that increase one’s risk for cardiovascular diseases. It can also be related to some cancers, gallbladder disease and osteoarthritis – to name a few. The good news? Those who successfully reduce their weight find themselves improving or resolving many of these obesity-related conditions. But, losing weight is no easy feat – just ask anyone who has tried. So, is bariatric surgery the answer?
