World MPS Day highlights the need to raise awareness about Mucopolysaccharide Diseases, which is part of a larger group of disorders known as Lyosomal Storage Disorders, rare, life-threatening metabolic conditions. Some of the symptoms of MPS include stunted growth, cardiomyopathy, hernias, stiff joints and hearing loss.
