Health News Digest: Eliminating Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV and Syphilis

We bring the latest in health news. Malaysia today became the first country in the World Health Organization Western Pacific Region to be certified as having eliminated mother-to-child transmission of HIV and syphilis. Minister of Health Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad is at the 69th session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific in Manila, Philippines, to receive the certificate of elimination.
