Hearing that your child has a life-threatening or life-limiting disease is something no parent wants to hear. But in these cases, paediatric palliative care can play a vital role in ensuring that the child’s quality of life - and ability to simply be a child - is preserved as much as possible, while supporting the child’s parents as well.
