With the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions, most children are back in schools, preschools and day care centres or childcare centres. This has led to a sharp increase in a common childhood infection, hand, foot and mouth disease, with over 30,000 cases reported nationwide since the beginning of this year. Here is a replay of an interview with Datuk Dr Chong Chee Keong, Deputy Director-General (Health) from Ministry of Health on preventive measures that you can take.
