Armed with a camera and some basic photography know-how, several street children who call Chow Kit home, were tasked with capturing photos of their surroundings.
The result can be seen in the exhibition 'Youth Lens', whose images have been described as carrying a certain insouciance, but nonetheless capturing the essence of the infamous Chow Kit area.
Sharmila Sekaran, Chairperson of Voice of the Children, and Sheng Saw, a volunteer who worked with the children on the photography aspect, tell us more about the project and fund raising exhibition being held in aid of the kids.
