Taking the Right Steps

As the former Dean of Dance at the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (Aswara), choreographer and arts educator Joseph Gonzales has years of experience in Malaysian arts pedagogy. He talks to us about his current work with the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the importance of a comprehensive approach to arts education, and his aspirations for the field in Malaysia.
