The Hands Percussion Team, a leading percussion group in Malaysia, are set to collaborate with Beijing's The Eight Mallets Percussion Group in the upcoming performance, "Ri Yue Chu Yin."
Guest composer for the concert, Paul Philbert, who is also the Section Principal Head for the Timpani for the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), tells us about the upcoming show, and also gives us a crash course on the timpani.
