We find out about one of the least known indigenous groups in Malaysia, the Orang Laut or Orang Seletar, whose existence and way of life is being threatened by rapid development.
We speak to Marine Biologist Choo Chee Kuang, who is part of the Malaysian Society of Marine Science, who are working to raise awareness and help the Orang Seletar community.
Their efforts include the opening of the Seletar Cultural Centre, and the production of a documentary on the community, titled "Johor's Forgotten People", directed by Hillary Chiew.
