The stabbing of a Member of Parliament sets into motion a series of events that brings together three women with seemingly disparate lives, in The Necessary Stage's production of Model Citizens. 

Coming to us from Singapore, the play, written by Haresh Sharma and directed by Alvin Tan, highlights the stark differences in class and social background of citizens of the same country, and delves into subjects like the significance of language and what constitutes citizenship.
