Kyle Shepherd Trio @ No Black Tie

Kyle Shepherd is an accomplished jazz pianist and composer, who is also a saxophonist, Xaru player (traditional mouth-bow), vocalist and poet. We discover how he has forged a unique compositional and performance concept, which is said to pay homage to all his musical influences and the many great musicians he has worked with.

Also joining Kyle for the interview is Seigo Matsunaga, a double bassist who hails from Japan. A Berklee grad, Seigo shares his experiences as a musician and a self-made concert promoter, and together with Kyle, they discuss what they have planned for their performance as the Kyle Shepherd Trio at No Black Tie.
