Detroit's Kirk Lightsey is a gifted modern jazz pianist whose career includes sessions with some of America's finest modern jazz instrumentalists, including Chet Baker, Dizzie Gillespie and Aretha Franklin. At the distinguished old age of 76, he is here in Malaysia for a series of performances at No Black Tie.
Joining him on stage is the enchanting vocalist and songwriter, Ti Harmon, who began singing at the age of 5 and had already performed on stage by ten years old. A graduate of Tisch School of the Arts in New York, Ti's creative process is currently based in Paris, France, where she explores the limitless possibilities of vocal expression.
