With a fondness for improvisation, Kolkata-based band Kendraka's music is said to be a confluence of many different cultural influences, including jazz, Hindustani and Carnatic music, among others.
The band's sizzling psychedelic electro-acoustic music has made waves the world over, and they are currently in Kuala Lumpur as part of their sixth international tour, Eurasia 2013: Root Map 3.
Bassist Mainak 'Bumpy' Nag Chowdhury and guitarist Nishad Pandey join us to share more about their music and their latest album, "Kuala Lumpur - Root Map 1".
