The KOMAS FreedomFilmFest (FFF), is Malaysia's only annual human rights film festival, which is making it's return for the 11th year.
This year’s theme, “Switch On People Power” is an acknowledgement to the growing Peoples’ Movement for greater democracy and justice in the South East Asian region.
We find out about the festival's offerings from Anna Har, the festival director and a board member of KOMAS, and we also get to know two of the filmmakers who are screening their works at the festival, Malaysian Siti Nurbaiyah Nadzmi and Cambodian Chan Lida.
