Anti Death Penalty activist and photographer Toshi Kazama shows the realities of the death penalty through his photos, and is best known for his "Juveniles of Death Row: A Documentary Exploration" project, which portrays juvenile offenders on death row.
Working on this project for the last 15 years of his life, Japanese-born US-based Toshi shares his thoughts on why he advocates against the death penalty through his work; the immeasurable value of human life; and the need for mutual respect and understanding for one another.
