Look Homeward, Malaikat

Anomalist Production in ‘Home’--a play--explores the challenges of a  bright young Malay student who wants to go overseas to continue his education and then remain there, but is conflicted. He questions if he has responsibilities to the country of his birth and his family who will never leave these shores. The co-writers and directors together with an actor tell about what they have observed in the lives of young Malays in the country and how the play is a vehicle for further dialogue on and engagement with the issue.
