Tasik Chini is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the only site in Malaysia to be conserved for its interesting features and intrinsic values.
The lake has been undergoing environmental degradation since 1995 though, and the indigenous communities living in he area are suffering as a result.
We find out about the plans to reverse this degradation from Josie M. Fernandez, the Secretary-General of Transparency International-Malaysia.
