Neil Young describes producing music on MacBook Pro as “a piece of crap”, “Fisher-Price quality” and having “Captain Kangaroo as your new engineer”. Although the MacBook is the default choice for music producers in this day and age, this renowned singer-songwriter thinks otherwise because of the low audio-quality. With him being on a crusade for high audio-quality for such a long time, is he really championing the highest quality of music or bitter that his own initiatives, PonoPlayer and PonoMusic are now obsolete?
