Rowing to the Horizon

Cutting through silky water at the wee hours of seven against the backdrop of a waking Putrajaya just comes short of an ordinary Malaysian morning but remains the stiff undertaking of a family of rowers. Hoping to share the thrill of tight photo finishes and exceptional synchronisation, the KL Rowing Club opened its doors to rowers of every caliber in late 2018. The President of KLRC, Zamir Zulkfeli joins us to describe the ins and outs of rowing, and how satisfying it can be, despite its gruelling nature.
