Originating from early Native-American tribes, lacrosse has undergone many modifications and developments to not just become one of the most popular sport in North America, but also gain popularity in the East. Over here, the Malaysia Lacrosse Association (MLA) has been around since 2014 and gained strong support from both Malaysians and our ASEAN counterparts. We talk to the president and vice president of the MLA, Putra Isyraq and Wataru Takahashi respectively, to give us an insight into the Malaysian and Asian lacrosse scenes and their plans to get the sport to be widely played locally.
