04:01 - Moving in the car and transportation theme, ride hailing provider Uber had its application for a new licence in London rejected by Transport for London on the basis that the company is not a “fit and proper” private car hire operator. New CEO Dara Khosrowshahi sent an email to staff saying they need to reflect on the "serious consequences" of the company's bad reputation, in light of a battle with London regulators.
07:45 - Southeast Asia-based games and e-commerce firm Sea (formerly known as Garena) has officially filed for an IPO in the NYSE. It is looking to raise US$1 billion dollars.
