Standards for Disable-friendly Housing

There is rising awareness in recent years for the plight of the disabled. Fadilah Baharin estimates that currently, only 40 percent of buildings in Malaysia are disable-friendly. We discuss the development of such standards, the concept of 'universal design' and how these standards could potentially increase property values.
